As your sofa bed or chair bed is handmade here at Sofabed Barn we care very much that your order arrives in a timely manner without defect or damage. Before choosing your delivery, please read carefully through the options below to fully understand what to expect when your order is ready to be dispatched.
All of our products can be delivered to mainland UK Addresses
The majority of our products will be delivered using a Nationwide carrier service, although some deliveries will be made by ourselves (depending on location).
We will contact you after the order has been placed by email or telephone to arrange a convenient delivery date once your order has been made and is ready to dispatch.
Kindly note: *During busy periods your order may take longer to be made. You will receive a confirmation email when we have received your order.
Standard Delivery (Self-Assembly) - Price £39.00
*Monday to Friday Courier Delivery
Available for our smaller items such as chair beds or any of our larger self- assembly items. The standard delivery service means your item(s) will be delivered by carrier on the specified week day Mon-Fri). *Please note that we cannot be any more specific as to the time of delivery, so please ensure someone is available to accept delivery at any time during the arranged day. This is important, as should the carrier attempt to deliver and to find the customer is not at home, they will leave an attempted delivery card, and this will come with an extra charge!
The driver will need a signature on delivery or the item(s) will not be left.
Please note: Delivery will be made to your door and packaging will not be taken away.
*Estimated delivery times for standard delivery would be 3-4 weeks from confirmation of order.
Room of choice - Price £59.00
This option is available for our large or small sofa beds and chair beds which will be delivered either fully assembled or part assembled *depending on model, to the room of your choice. *Providing the access to the chosen room is accessible.
*Kindly note: Part assembled items will require some self assembly by the customer upon delivery.
Our delivery partner will contact you before the delivery to propose a delivery date and time frame, and give you the option to reschedule this if it's not convenient. If your not at home at the agreed time, your item(s) will be returned to their warehouse. We will be able to arrange re-delivery of your item(s) but this will incur a re-delivery charge at the rate originally paid.
Our delivery policy on large items is wherever possible the delivery team will take the item into your chosen room, however please note that this is at their discretion, and if in their opinion the staircase is too narrow, the door gap too small, etc... They will not risk damaging your product or your home by forcing the item where it will not fit! In these cases your product will be left for you to arrange manoeuvring the item yourself. Many of our sofa beds and chair beds do have removable arm rests and storage drawers to further dismantle the item. *Kindly note that this is not something that the delivery team are expected to do.
Please remember that it's your responsibility to check that the items will fit through doors and staircases in their packaging before you place your order.
In all cases we'd advise you to try and be in on the original delivery date, so your item(s) don't stay too long in transit and you can enjoy them as quickly as possible. In the unlikely event that you do have a problem we will try to resolve it as soon as possible.
