This good looking sofa bed was fairly easy to assemble although it did take two of us because of the weight. Looks very smart in our small garage conversion and was the only one we could find to fit.

A wonderful little sofa

We received our sofa (smaller version) yesterday, put it together with no issues, and it looks great, opens and closes smoothly, and it is comfortable to sit and lay on. Sofa was built in a matter of weeks and the team adjusted delivery time to suit our schedule. Recommended.

Excellent Quality Sofa Bed

A word of thanks for the quality & craftsmanship of the Aylesbury Sofa bed. Having searched high & low for a suitable sofa bed to compliment my new study/sleep over area, I was resigned to order a 'similar' item manufactured overseas. Thankfully I came across the Sofabed barn, which appeared to offer exactly what I was looking for with the added bonus of being manufactured in the UK. Upon taking delivery we were immediately impressed with the care taken in packaging this item, and further impressed by the overall quality of the product. This is definitely not your average sofa bed, the materials used in construction are first class and obviously designed to provide for a long life. We did upgrade to the memory foam mattress, and it was money well spent.
The only down side was delivery was not available to the Scottish Highland region. However considering all the positive comments from my friends and family, I would not be surprised if they received many further orders from our area; even at a premium courier rate.

Absolutely thrilled with this sofa bed

After much research I chose this sofa bed for my cabin. It is absolutely brilliant, I knew it would be good but all my expectations have been surpassed. Firstly it is incredibly well made, it's a very solid sofabed, secondly it is absolutely beautiful, it really does look great and thirdly it is really comfortable. It's really easy to pull out into a bed and push back into the sofa, the mechanism is smooth and the fabric is hard wearing. I'm really happy with my purchase and feeling rather smug with how great this sofabed has turned out to be.

Great Sofa Bed

I ordered the small sofa bed and it is a great size to seat 2 people comfortably, The mattress is very comfortable - definitely worth paying extra for the luxury one. The bed is easy to open/close and quick to assemble. Delivery was within 6 weeks and the delivery men took great care with my purchase. Having looked in many places I have not found anything as good as this for the money, great value and great product.

Looks great, cozy sofa

Just redecorated my front room and this sofa's a great addition. We haven't needed to use it as a guest bed yet, but it's a great look and feel.

Lovely sofa bed

We are very pleased with our purchase from this company. The sofa is perfect in our room, very comfortable and will be useful as an occasional bed. It was delivered promptly, and communication from the company has been excellent throughout.

Fantastic sofa bed

I can't tell you how pleased I am with this sofa bed. Looks good but most of all very comfortable. My brother and wife came for a visit yesterday and loved it so much they plan to order one next week to replace the one they have...... Don't hesitate just buy one you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely pleased

Sofa making was right in the time band company told us (6-8 weeks), I sent email to check on the process and they answered quick enough and we’re very helpful, and we’ve received our sofa this morning. Delivery men were very punctual, sofa came very well packed and protected. Setting up is minimum because it comes almost made, it’s VERY easy to set up (best between 2 but you can do it on your own), instructions are ridiculously easy and everything goes quick and smooth, we had it on in less than 1h. Fabric looks really nice and it’s very comfy, we are really really pleased.

Beautiful Sofa Bed

A lovely and very comfortable sofa bed. We installed it in our log cabin which we built during lockdown ready for my husband to shield in when schools returned. He found tte sofabed to be extremely comfortable and not just for the occasional use but for a 2 month period! Very well made with high quality materials and looks amazing in situ!

Really delighted with our Aylesbury Futon. Looks very stylish, lovely colour (mulberry), well made and easy to assemble. The sofa bed mechanism is very smooth and easy to operate. The throw cushions are a great addition and beautifully made. Would definitely recommend Sodabed Barn.

Fabulous Sofa Bed

Just want to thank everyone at Sofabed Barn for a great service. After much research we ordered the Aylesbury Futon Sofa Bed for our spare bedroom, just before the Lockdown. After speaking to Michael we agreed that the Sofa Bed would be held until we were happy to take delivery. Approximately three months on our SB has been delivered and we are very pleased with it. The product was well packed and was very easy to assemble. The quality of the SB is excellent and definitely good value. We would definitely recommend purchasing a SB from Sofa Bed Barn, as the service from ordering to delivery is 100%, with a classy looking SB to complete our spare bedroom. Very happy customers!

Aylesbury sofa bed

Ordered this Sofa bed during lockdown, It turned up just after 4 weeks, Quality excellent easy to build, looked at a number of Sofa beds many over £1000 but this Sofa bed is very good value and I am well pleased with it.

Very good product

Just finished putting the Aylesbury sofa bed together - very straightforward - square section steel framework is excellent quality and a lot stronger than than most of the other mechanisms I've seen (usually tubular and thinner) mattress thick and comfortable.
One other thing - it has a very easy and smooth operation when converting to a bed and back again to a sofa.
Looks good in our spare room.
Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Great sofa bed

Very pleased with this sofa bed. It’s comfortable both as a bed and as a sofa and looks good in our loft room. I’m glad I went for the memory foam option. It’s also very easy to open out and to put back. I’m pleased with the under storage drawer too, as I can fit a king size duvet in it. (The only drawback was my husband had to paint the MDF that the drawer was made from with MDF sealant as I have a thing about exposed MDF. This was just the drawer as the rest of the sofa bed was made from wood, including the front of the drawer.) It was a good, personal service and it was nice to be able to talk to someone on the phone if needed (although we had no problems). I would definitely recommend this sofa bed.

I looked for a long time to find a sofa bed that would actually function comfortably as a double bed. Not only does the Aylesbury do this, but it looks really lovely as a sofa. The folding mechanism is easy to use and of high quality and the integral drawer is very handy. I would heartily recommend this sofa bed as beautiful, well built, easy to use and totally functional. GREAT QUALITY

We run Bales Ash campsite in Devon and needed a sofa bed for our 'Beech Hut' gleaming cabin. We have searched for ages to find something well made and good looking, strong and yet yet simple to use. Wow! This is it! We are delighted with everything about this Aylesbury Sofa bed, it looks great as well and two novices were able to put it together well.

Just had our sofa bed delivered and very kindly assembled as well as a demo on how to pull out and in. Beautiful quality on both the wood and mattress- love it. Service was great from start to finish with delivery on time and good communication. Would recommend to anyone.

We live in the north of Scotland and took delivery of this sofa bed very soon after we ordered it. The build quality of this product is of the highest standard and the ease in which this functional but comfortable piece of furniture converts from sofa to bed and back again, is fantastic. I spoke to Michael to thank him for his product and his service and this very humble man played down my deepest gratitude.
