Featuring two seating positions (standard & recline) the Richmond chair is a must for customers to sit back and relax into a luxury deep buttoned, pocket sprung seat whilst popping your feet up on to a comfortable foot stool. Fully upholstered arm rests complete the chair for extra comfort and support, these can also be removed if required. To make the chair into a bed it only takes a couple of clicks of the mechanism to lay the frame down flat then place the foot stool at the base. It's that easy!
Including handy storage area inside both the chair base and the foot stool the Richmond chair bed can be made to order in any of our fabrics and colours.
This item would be delivered in sections for easy access onto narrow boats or through smaller door ways. Ideal seating and sleeping solution for any room in the home.

After 4 months of usually 10 to 12 hours a day sat on this I can definitely say that it is indeed very comfortable. Stretching out on the footstool it's almost a chaise longue and you get a good nap. Solidly built I expect it to last a good few years.

We have 2 of these chair beds on our narrow boat and we are absolutely thrilled with them. It was great being able to choose our preferred colour way, knowing they were being made especially for us. They are extremely comfortable to sit on and our guests always report a good nights sleep when staying overnight. Handy storage area within the footstool which keeps spare bedding handy. The service is excellent from sofa bed barn and delivery was punctual. The Chairs were assembled onboard We are totally impressed. I was able to go to the factory to have a look at various designs etc so that I knew I was ordering exactly what I wanted.
