The Aylesbury chair bed is what we are all about at Sofabed Barn with style and quality our top priority skilfully handmade by our small dedicated team.
Made using our tried and tested easy to use, push/pull mechanism and built to a high standard, we make all our chair beds using top quality materials and fabrics.
The timber around the frame is made from sustainable redwood pine and can be stained in a wide range of colours, *please take a look at our full colour stain range by clicking on the link below. Finished with a top coat of briwax wax polish to give a fantastic natural soft sheen.
All our mattresses are made using reflex foam with the option of adding a luxury memory foam topper which is laminated to the reflex foam for even more comfort. When making the Aylesbury we also use our quilted mattress cover which adds to the looks of this great chair.

Lovely chair
Just received my Aylesbury chair bed in medium oak and Oyster chenille, it's stunning and beautiful quality, very comfortable. The company are also really responsive and friendly, I'd highly recommend them!

After a long wait in on the delivery day, i finally received this beautifully crafted chairbed. It is way better than expected with excellent quality. Very strong, although the assembly of wood parts was not straightforward as they did not have a picture explanation but it is all sorted now.
All in all, i love it! Probably the best buy i have made. I must say it is way worth its price. A very happy customer.
Brilliant sofa bed.
I had this model made in navy blue chenille and medium oak, and it is beautiful. Very comfy, stylish and so well made. It's a cosy chair and a spare bed for visitors in my small bungalow. Highly recommend this company.
